Green tea is literally one of the best things in my life.

What is Green Tea?

Green tea is basically tea that’s green. It doesn’t taste like your standard tea that we all love, for me its an acquired taste, so I had to get used to the taste of it. Green tea is used in a lot of traditional Chinese methods to treat a variety of things including depression and headaches. Green tea leaves contains lots and lots of components Vitamin B, folic acid in its natural form, and stuff like magnesium and potassium these are all antioxidants.

Antioxidants are substances that inhibit oxidation (NHS.UK)

What are the benefits of Green Tea?

Drinking green tea is said to:

  1. Boost Weight loss:
    Green tea consumption is said to increase the amount of calories burnt via an increase in the bodies metabolism
  2. Aiding detox – Green tea flushes out toxins from your body (Might make you pee more)

Me personally I drink two mugs of green tea a day. One first thing in the morning and one in the evening. The one in the morning really makes you feel like your cleansed inside and ready to go for the rest of the day, and the one in the evening, for me feels like im giving my body some rest time and letting the green tea do the work. Sometimes the one in the morning is enough, but generally i need my green tea everyday!
